What is the difference between a red sip card and a green sip card any help appreciated. TIA

At one time they were all green and only able to be used in your region. They changed to them being available to be used throughout Spain and not just regional so they brought the red ones in.
Now the system has been updated and both cards can be used throughout Spain.
