I did see you had to go to the Town hall. Think I saw it on the N332 site. I know it's as difficult as getting rocking horse shit.

Difficult, very . Lengthy , yes , we started our application in September last year , still waiting even though were told it should take about a month . I follow it up regularly , meanwhile our need is even greater than before .

Hi
The first stage is to fill out the form below and take it to the town hall, take any medical reports you have and residencia/TIE,

Once submitted be prepared for along wait, in most cases you will be contacted by and have an appointment with social services. The next step is an assessment in Alicante then finally wait some more. You will receive the resolution by post and if approved your Certificación del grado de discapacidad will be included. The Certificate can take over 2 years to obtain in some cases so don’t panic if you don’t hear anything for a while.

We got the certificate for our daughter, it took 9 months to obtain but due to the extensive medical records we submitted with the original form we didn’t have the meeting or assessment.
