Plumber wanted

Hi,there’s a foul smell in the bathroom,I think it’s coming from the shower.Has anyone else had this problem and which plumber would you recommend.Thank you.Julie

It could be coming from the base of the toilet if it has not been sealed - the Spanish plumbers never do it. Buy a tube of clear silicone sealant and put it around the base of the toilet where it meets the floor. This tip could save you quite a bit of money. I doubt if the problem is with your shower. Get a neighbour to help if you are unsure. Best of luck.

I also had a foul cabbage smell in the bathroom. Realised it was the seal around the base of the loo. Removed old silicone and used a tube of silicone to reseal. Problem solved x

We contacted Dave Farr for the same reason. Now having to go through the insurance. Seems the drain beneath the shower has collapsed.

I had this problem smell from shower . Where the water drains away there may be something you pull up to clean underneath ( hair etc) when cleaned you MUST! Make sure it is pushed back into place all the way solidly otherwise a smell will get through .
Just a small thing like that can cause havoc .
