I would suggest you build the walls a bit higher or seal the gap under the doors so they cannot limbo in. Failing that once bitten then calomine lotion might help

Nothing as bad as the itch of mosquitos/midges. Just have to put mosquito netting on the windows to keep them out. You can also buy the plug in vapour that repels them. Not a lot you can do outside except spray yourself with one of the anti mosquito sprays. Cover arms and legs as much as you can in the night time if going out. Once you get bitten apply the antihistamine cream on the bites and take an antihistamine tablet and wait and wait until the itch goes.

Surplus sanitizer bottles, left over from Covid is ideal for midget bites. For when you are in the garden or sunbathing by the pool, it’s the alcohol content. But to answer midget bites inside the house, the only solution is to fit Mosquito blinds at every window, and sliding M / blinds at the patio doors. After 23 years living in Quesada it is the only answer to your question. Therefore you can have every window open, knowing you have the invisible mosquito blinds….Peaceful nights sleep without than buzzing sound

Surprisingly the best after bite I have come across is Listerine mouth wash but it must be the original, what have you to lose, try it.

We use ROLL ON DEODORANT and it takes the itch out immediately. It works for cold sores too!
Probably the alcohol content.

White Vinegar, sterilizes the wound, stops the itching, reduces the redness and reduces the swelling
