Aircon

Aircon

Can anyone tell me if you can get a sensor fitted to your aircon , so as when the door is open or they go out it automatically switches of. ive had a horrendous electric bill using 25.15kwh one day and 18.25kwh most days which suggests they have it on 24hrs,

I assume you are renting. If that's the case, it may be best to hold a deposit for the aircon which is refunded depending on the use. Or maybe stipulate on the contract that they pay? I now of a company called airconomy that fitted a unit in which you put a key fob. No key fob, no aircon use. Not sure if they're still in business but they are/were based over here.

As Chrisdee said, contact Steve. If there's a solution available he will know. Tel. +34695096454 or probably better, email: [email protected]

Hopefully there's something available locally and they won't have to import it from Australia!

These have been mentioned before, and forum members have had them supplied and fitted here, so I guess there'll be an engineer who fits them:
