Composite/ UVPC Front/External Door

I need a new composite/UVPC external front door. Can anyone point me in the right direction in the Ciudad Quesada/Rojales area. A company that also fits them would be ideal.

I think Simply doors San Luis come recommended on here

I am not a fan of Composite doors and was surprised to find that a real wood aluclad door was much the same price. They are aluclad on the exterior but not on the interior facing side. So if you get a chance compare the two before you buy.

We went to Simply doors last year for a quote and there was a long waiting time as the doors came from the UK. At the time there were problems at Dover and as we had to put a substantial deposit down we decided not to bother.

It seemed strange that they only fitted UK doors as I am sure Spain must make doors?

Maybe things have changed now..

Have you ever considered the Steel wood doors very good and insurance rated

The door on our house was a white door with an arched design with ia peep hole.and brass knob Because the door was solid and didn’t allow any light into the house, I hated it. You may not be aware but the inside panel can be removed and replaced. We chose glass ( mirrored on one side so allowing for privacy) we now love our door. It’s a super job and was inexpensive too. Got a Spanish chap from an aluminium place to do it.

I’m led to believe that you can have trouble with composite doors if the sun is on them all the time and that is in the U.K. I think they may warp. I have two in the U.K. and have had no problems but they are not in direct sunlight also be aware there are two types one with a wood core and the other with a polystyrene core, the first is the best for security the latter for insulation.

My friends bubbled up, she doesn't fo cheap either, not sure who supplied and fitted but they replaced it.

Firstly we only ask for a 200€ deposit the remainder to be paid on completion.
Yes sometimes there is a long wait, this would be because we are fully booked or our manufacturer in the uk is busy.
We have the odd delivery that gets caught up in customs but never had a delay of 3 or 4 days.
There are no Composite door manufacturers in Spain.
We have been installing Composite doors here since 2007 and have no issues with warping/cracking etc.
