Breakdown Warning Lights

Breakdown Warning Lights

Anyone know where I can purchase the flashing breakdown lights with the geo location. As from 2026 the red triangles will be obsolete.

Yes i also bought a one from a ferriteria for around 17 euro.looks good flashes etc but no good at all because not linked to the DGT APP. They then tell the Guardia where you are and they send a car to see if all okay.A proper one will cost over 40 euros. Beware.

Definitely have them on Amazon.es as I have looked this week, with the view of replacing our now obeselite ones purchased from Aldi. Expect to pay 40.00€ or more for DGT ones.

It's early days yet so devices with full blown DGT 3.0 connectivity are still very thin on the ground however when the scheme really gets going it will be wishful thinking in the extreme to imagine every activation producing an actual police presence in response.

On motorways the only immediate response possible will be a warning on overhead gantries where they exist in reasonable proximity to where the incident has occurred, a police presence will only happen in case of an accident being reported or there happens to be a car in the vicinity.

You certainly wouldn't want to be sitting waiting for them to come to your aid but should immediately call your insurer for assistance as now and in the past.

For the record currently there are just 4 approved devices on the market.

They are-

Help Flash IoT
Flash LED SOS
PF LED ONE V16
DP-EL2022-C1

Only seen this today so may be too late. Anyway when buying ULEZ type sticker from Correos in Almoradi the guy serving me advised me that they're selling the new, flashing, lights. I declined as they aren't due to be introduced yet and I have 2 triangles.
