Can you recommend a well priced optician?

Postby Thy Will Be Done » Thu Jul 06, 2023 6:53 am

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend an optician, whose services, frames and lenses are well priced that they have personally used a few times.

Kind regards

Paul

Sorry but I wouldn't use the Quesada I went a few months ago the eye test was very basic (think school ones) I need a petite frame which they don't have so used my frames and they charged me €75.00 for really thin plastic lens!

There's a Specsavers near Habaneras. Free eye test and 2 for 1 offers usually available.

‘Really Thin’ plastic lenses are usually the most expensive!

Well Al I can say Is that I have used Optica Rodriguez
At the Quesada arches for 15 years and have tried many others.
Including speck savers ( only in it for the money )
But never had any satisfaction or price comparison, not to mention after care service,
The best around Quesada , or even Torrevieja area is decently Optica Rodriguez without a doubt.
Family run business and speak good English.
Anyone that I have spoken to About the service always said it was first class.
Any one who did not get this was no doubt down to how them not to opticians.
Glad they are going elsewhere as this means I would not have to wait long for another appointment, thanks for that

Optica Rodriguez used to have a shop near me in Torrevieja and Ive bought from them and found them excellent price wise, not cheap but fair. The thing I didn't like when I went to Quesada was there aren't many on display to try, it's fairly small in there they have more in drawers but I prefer to wander, look and try. Ive also heard Specsavers have better equipment for testing that was from a UK optician.
