How long does it take to register the S1 form? I have left this with an organisation in Quesada at 25e cost but was told up to 3 months?

Dare we guess Right Move?
Only others who have recently successfully registered S1's by other means can answer the question about how long it took them and I'm not in that group but 3 months would seem excessive.
We know procedures can vary wildly from place to place and that a lot has changed since COVID so while perhaps not a fair comparison when registering my S1 from the time of submitting it to receiving my SIP card was around 3 weeks which, if nothing else, does demonstrate that the actual process itself need not be an unduly lengthy one.
If it were me I'd be looking to employ a separate reliable Gestor to check with INSS and find out what's happening.
Good luck!

Not answering your question but this may help others.

It looks relatively easy to submit the application online, especially if it is difficult to get an appointment and you don't speak Spanish.

Don't forget they probably close for the whole of August, so that's a month gone

My wife applied early November using One Way Services and I think the approval came mid-April when we were away on holiday.

Did you not need private insurance if so use that or your GHIC card or whatever they call it. I'd pop into your salud have a word with them and see if they can provide a temp card? Might be worth asking, youd be no worse off

Not sure in your case as it depends on your situation. My wife has had her SIP for many years as my dependent because I used to work here, so she was just getting it in her own right now she has reached the S1 qualifying age.

Qualifying private insurance is supposed to provide cover at least equal to the state system.
