BEST CAR INSURANCE REQUIRED

Having my French Registered car transferred to Spanish plates.
I would appreciate any advice of the good/bad things to look for or avoid.
Any advice re good insurance companies would also be greatly appreciated

About 5 or 6 years ago I changed from France to Spain. I was with Generali in France and wanted to continue with them but Generali in Spain is a different company and wouldn't acknowledge my no claims bonus. I had a year with Caser and then next year back to Generali who then gave me a no claims bonus. All this was organised by the Generali office next to Quesada Fish and Chips who were very helpful. Never had to make a claim so can't comment as to how good they are in this regard.

I highly recommend the girls in the Ibex office in Quesada. I have been with them for 8 years for all my cars cars here and they constantly beat any price I have received from the other companies that will get mentioned here. Even after somebody claiming against me for a minor scrape a few years ago they managed to get me a discount on my renewal. They are on Calle Blanca opposite Divas gin and prosecco bar.

Rightmove by the arches good prices and always there for help.

Over the years I have insured 5 vehicles with them and never been asked for proof of NCB.

For my current 2012 car I pay just €303, like for like on Compare the Market in UK it ranges from £492 up to over £1000!

I used my lawyers, they are Insurance agents and got me a very good deal. Sgm Abogados in Benijofar. The girl called Ines arranged it for me.
