Interior white doors

Can you paint the white doors seem so common, do you dip them, special paint key them, I've got 6 to do, thanks

You can have them done by tradesmen, who clean them and then dip them. Friends of mine had it done, but on those doors that had heavy use, especially the wardrobe doors, the paint chipped easily and started to flake off.

If you've got the good quality, wood doors, and the time, you'd be better off doing it yourself. I did my own the old fashioned way - sanding them back thoroughly, one layer of undercoat and 2 coats of good quality top coat. I brushed on the paint and then used a small roller to achieve a smooth finish. They look as good now as when I did them 6 years ago - not a chip anywhere and it saved me a small fortune
