ATM charges

We were notified by our U.K. bank FIRST DIRECT that using our cards abroad to pay or withdraw cash was free of charge. We normally use the HALIFAX CLARITY card which
has no charge either. As well as that, my husband uses his WISE CARD with no charges either. ( Belgium account)
Withdrawing cash at an ATM may incur a charge depending on the machine. Think my husband uses the Deuche Bsnk fir cash withdrawals n

I got €1.167 on July 14 at Santander ATM with my UK Santander card. I don’t think anything has changed

To be absolutely clear, withdrawing cash at Santander is only fee free and good exchange rate if you use a U.K. SANTANDER DEBIT CARD. As far as I can tell nothing has changed.
