Hi I am a 52 year old single female, I am an EU national and hold an EU passport, I currently live in the UK, south west, I am currently seriously thinking of moving to Spain, in particular the Malaga region and Torreviejas area, I am currently learning Spanish , I do not drive and will need a place close to public transport and amenities,does Quesada have good public transport? I want to be near the beach

Quesada has poor public transport, better to look at Guardamar or Torrevieja

Thank you, yeah, Torrevieja is reasonable when it comes to property prices too

Torrevieja has the best bus links in the region. Whilst a predominantly Spanish town, most business speak English and Spanglish depending on your and their level of understanding. We've lived here for many years and have had no issues with anything.

However, further inland there's a train service connecting Murcia and Alicante and there's a few nice smaller towns on that route, however, Spanish would be essential in these places.
