Grumpy's on Avenida de Las Naciones near Pinxtos and La Taberna.

That’s my favourite. It’s very popular so you need to book.

Got to admit...the fact that everyone calls this "Grumpy's" puts me off a bit!

What is it that he does to get this reputation?!

His name is Claudio. He comes across as a bit eccentric and he strongly prefers cash payment. He has been there many many years (20+ I would say as I can't remember him ever not being there), his staff are lovely, it is generally full and the food is excellent so he's not doing too much wrong. I wouldn't let it put you off. Just enjoy the food and the quirky decor (it reminds me of Beryl Cook in places) and smile sweetly in the direction of Claudio! Otherwise we are blessed with several other good quality Italian restaurants in Quesada: Amore Mio, Day and Night, Antica Italia and Bellissimo to name a few.
