Santander to Bilbao toll charge

My satnav diverted me via bilbao from santander and I think we travelled via a toll road which used cameras.

How can I check and pay, I think it was the AP8 or A8

I know you think you may have been caught on camera, but this link seems to say that all tolls in Spain are paid at the time at physical barriers:

I've never known it any other way, but then I've not driven on the AP8.

We’ve always known them to be pay at the time via a barrier system. But then, we have been on some that, same as you not 100% sure, and by some lucky chance offered a turn off before the end, and so never given the opportunity to be charged for whatever duration we might have used. So, as already said, if you have not met a toll booth / barrier, then there is nothing to pay.

Some toll roads were supposed to have the charges removed on roads that had covered the original manufacturing costs.

In France ( don’t know about spain) some toll roads you just take a ticket and pay at a toll station further down whichever stretch of road you have been on. We have paid anything from €1.20 up to €30 odd for a long distance.of road. Just remember to keep your ticket handy.
