Thinking if growing peppers,and herbs and maybe oranges, I've heard that limes are hard to grow, someone enlighten me, as I don't see limes at all growing

Lime Grove down Daya Nueva way,simular to grow as oranges or lemons
Too late to plant or grow peppers this year,soil temp to hot at moment
Herbs anytime,
What size plot have you?
