Plastic bins.

Why aren't the plastic bins on the street being emptied in the Dona Pepa, Lo Marabú áreas. Rubbish all over the streets.

Surely our local councillor Derek Monk sees the bins, just as we do. Yet nothing gets done.

Derek has retired, I'm not sure who has replaced him.
These type of issues often happen in August due to Spanish holidays maybe send a photo using GECOR app to see if they will send a team to clean the bin/s involved.
If anybody knows Derek's replacement could they post the details please.

I thought none of the plastic bins were being emptied in Rojales or Quesada but two days ago our plastic bin (which was overflowing like the rest) in Rojales was emptied, so perhaps they are on their way! They are not emptied by the Rubbish Collection lorries but by those specific to the plastic containers, also different ones for glass, and for paper and cardboard.

That's confusing, so a separate agency collects the plastic recycling bin, if and when they please. Surely there is a controlling body.

The amount of people living here without "Padron" and the amount of people illegally renting their houses out.
The council won't have a clue as to who's in what houses when.
The rubbish collections only go by the amount of people "known here"
Our bins in Lo Pepin are emptied daily... always have been.
No issues this end

These bins were like it until a few weeks before the last election, they will continue to be like it until a few weeks before the next election.
That’s how this council has duped people for too many years now.

Look how many people duped the local council living here without padron or renting to family and friends without declaring the income they all add to the rubbish situation unfortunately.
