Agents charging buyer fee

Hi All,

Apologies if this question has been done to death.

Do estate agents in spain generally charge the buyer as well as the seller. I'm looking to buy a property and sort out viewings. One agent charges €999 to the buyer?

Buyers sshould not be paying to buy a house just refuse to pay and get another agent they will have the same property

5 real estate charge the buyers a fee.
They have a very low sellers fee, so I’ve known vendors who have said that they will pay the sellers fee as well.

That's who it's with.. I have told them to cancel the viewing based on this fee.

I recently purchased a Property through 5 Real Estate agents and I did pay 999+ vat and was happy to do so as Apartment was sold to me at a Price less that other similar Apartment a lot less as they charge seller fee is less than other leading Estate agents and seller can accept a lower price. I would have second taught if I was in your shoes

The property is only being sold by 5 real estate so I will still view it as It looks a nice apartment. If we really like it I'm sure we can discuss the buyer fee..
