This is too vague. Your insurance premium is based on the square meters of your home and your patio area, so will be different for every home. Plus it depends on whether you have accidental damage included and whether you have any contents included. So sorry to say, but no other person's quote can be comparable to yours. If you are going through an agent eg Jennifer Cunningham they are likely to be tied to one insurance company only so you cannot get a comparison from them with another company's quote. You with have to look for a broker who will be able to access other companies' quotes. Your bank will give you a quote but it is likely to be higher than you have already.

I emailed a few companies and then made my own choice.
IBEX for me were a nightmare walked out of their office very stressed and upset. I don’t mind answering questions but some of theirs from the UK underwriters were ridiculous!

Does anyone know of a local broker who actually does what a broker should do and get quotes from a selection of companies and even support and help when you have to make a claim I for one have been very disappointed with the service you receive

We use Sunbay in Torrevieja close to the Friday market/needle roundabout.
The owner and other lady are excellent with help and advice.

Try Right Move in Quesada, opposite filling station by the arches.
We pay a little more than your quote for a 3 bed detached on a 500 plot
