Go into play store and download the lines directa app and sign up with your NIE any problems give them a call and they'll sort it for you

Thank you Fred but when tapping the links it’s saying ‘App not available in your country or region’ which is very strange given Linea Directa is a Spanish business.

what device are you using

I’ve tried on an iPhone 7 and an iPhone SE. Both were purchased here in Spain and have worked perfectly for nearly 3 years. They are both on different networks and I’ve also tried installing the app with wifi off.

Have you tried using the QR code to take you to the app just use the phone to take a photo

It's the store rather than the mobile network that determines what you can download. My store was set to Ireland and when I looked for Iberdrola, leroy Merlin etc, they did not show up in the Apple store. I then changed the store to Spain (Settings, tap your name, media & purchases, view account, country/region, change country or region - pick Spain and you will be asked for your credit card details again) Once I did this and opened the Apple store again, all the Spanish apps were available to download. (Iberdrola, Leroy merlin etc) Once you download the apps you want, you can change back to your original store if you wish and the downloaded apps still work fine.

Well Mr Expat, that’s finally sorted it, thank you! Strangely, I’ve had several Spanish apps on my phone for years including Iberdrola, Hidraqua, Leroy Merlin, Telfy, Mi DGT and many more, very odd.

However, I now have the Linea Directa app so thank you very much for your detailed instructions

Strange it won’t accept a UK credit card or any card from Uk nor even PayPal
