I found that too when I tried my Irish bank card. I then entered my Spanish Caixa bank card and that worked fine. I am guessing it is a requirement for changing store that you use a bank card from that store country.

I don’t use Spanish banks anymore they are a rip off, I use wise but they don’t accept their card either
