Inoculation’s this winter

Hi anyone know if the health centres will be doing the flue jab and is there going to be an update for covid?
If so will it be in September or October?

Well, there will be the flu vaccine campaign as usual but it's normally later here and starts in the middle of October.
The health authorities have been talking about doing the covid vaccine (no input from the deniers please, simply answering the question) at the same time and both will be, as usual, voluntary.

Loads of people have received messages to go for a shingles vaccine. Ask at the med centre but I'm not sure what age. I thought it was over 70s but we haven't been contacted so it may be the over 75s.
Best to check although I have heard the 70 to 79 age group will be called from September this year.

It's here, my friend and her husband have been really poorly, definitely covid but not sure what one. Be careful, we're all going about like it's not there but it is. Stay safe

I agree with you Chris and I just want to let all of you know that Vega Baja hospital have reintroduced the use of masks due to the rise of COVID cases

I knew they had somewhere else, better sort my masks out for busy places

Flu jabs were given in December last year.

I received a phone call in July from Rojales Salud telling me to go for shingles vaccine. When I got there they told me they only do it at 65 or 80 years old. I was 66 when they rang me. Really couldn't understand why they rang.
