Luis Rubiales right or wrong

Question: Is it now on the mend?

Rubiales should have apologised straight away and it would have diffused the situation. Instead he took the approach that what he did was ok, even consensual. It wasn’t a peck, but a full on kiss on the lips. It doesn’t make him a bad person, just ignorant.

At no time was there any gropping.

And the world want this man to loose his livelihood over this.

If we can get excited and share our emotions the what a dull old world we face.

If there are associations that can't accept this behaviour then they will have to introduce regulations in behaviour.

Was it a "spur of the moment thing" when Rubiales grabbed his crotch in a macho salute, about 1.5m from Queen Letizia and her daughter? The fact that he didn't even think about the World's media catching it on camera is an indication of the sort of bloke he is - I wonder if he teaches his daughters that they should just accept unwanted advances from men.

Maybe not the wisest thing to do but I keep thinking of events like VE Day and the likes and lots of grabbing and kissing total strangers! Look at the famous kiss of the second whorl war the sailor grabbing a girl to kiss he didn’t know,

Just seen the video of Jenni Hermosa sharing the video of "The kiss" whilst on the coach afterwards laughing her head off, she don't look bothered one little bit.

Its atrocious behaviour- the World Cup should be taken off Spain and given to the other team in that whoever they were ......hmmm..?

I agree with Steve Wilkins post. Years ago I did the off shore survival and fire fighting course for working on the oil rigs I was the only female out of 275 men and the lads tried it on throughout the five days hugging me pinching my bum stoking my legs etc but it was done in a fun way but on the last day 40 people had failed the course I passed and I got a stand up ovation and chucked up in the air and kissed to death they told me how proud they felt for me and told me that I needed to be very proud of myself!! Priceless
