Do you have an S1 form? If so, you register this with the INSS (social security) and you will be issued a form to take to your local health centre where they will issue you a SIP card.

Thank you
Yes I will have S1.
I don't have any clave or anything like that.
I have to go there in person, so I am looking for an address.
There have been a INSS office by townhall in Rojales, but I think it closed some time ago.

I think you may need to make an appointment. I had to a few months ago, and there was a 7 week wait, but managed to get an appointment within a couple of days in Alicante. You also need an up to date padron to

Good luck with Torrevieja it took me nearly six months to get an updated padron to get the forms from the inss and that was using a good reliable legal company.

Where are all these vaunted systems in Torrevieja that you are supposed to go in and press a button on a machine to get things done? They keep on about cutting queues and getting things done in a short time or don't they actually work?
Six months to get an updated padron or 6 weeks to get a SIP card is ludicrous.

We've now our "Lady under the stairs". In Torrevieja you can get your Padron in The police station office next to Age Concern La Siesta, going into town is a complete nightmare and they are so old fashioned and unhelpful, completely different at La Siesta. You can book an appointment there or you can pop in.
