Hi All

5m x 10m pool, how much water loss/evaporation should i expect per day in this weather?

Got standard 25mm pool tiles, pool gets light use and not much splashing

TIA

Get a bucket. fill it to brim with water. Put it beside pool. However much that drops in a couple of days should be the same as the pool. Not 100% accurate but will give you an idea.

Hello. We noticed that our pool same size as your levels dropping rather quickly - it was under the original tile mark and still dropping. Upon checking we didn’t have the auto fill on during summer but also noticed the lights were full of water. changed all these and it been ok since.

Check the tile level today and again in the morning, if it’s still decreasing call a Specialist pool company - I’m sure someone in the areas will know of a good one to recommend.

Check your sand tank, i have had a slight leak on mine for about 2 years now , a slight seepage around the seal at the top, i managed to tighten the nuts and reduced it but still get some water loss , not enough to warrant a full repair
Watch the pressure on your gauge and remember to backwash, release some pressure if need be

My water levels have gone down faster this year because of the extreme heat

You can loose up to a tile and half per week during the summer.

Have you a waste isolation handle? If not Have you checked your multi valve isn't leaking

We have the same size and you can lose up to a tile a day especially when it's windy/breezy, we also have a water feature which i have to put a least 12 litres of water every other day.

Dont forget, when a pool is hoovered, back washed and rinsed, the level drops at LEAST one tile depth immediately.
