La marquesa restaurant

Has anyone been to the restaurant recently. My friends are thinking of booking there. I haven't been for a long time due to my wife's illness, and have heard rumours that the quality has gone down of late.
Any opinions appreciated.

Which one do you mean as I'm not sure there's anywhere of that name in Quesada? If you mean the Clubhouse restaurant, it's permanently closed.

If you mean El Maques, Rojales end of the golf course and upstairs? Now called China Lu.

Excellent Chinese resturante, highly recommended. Have used this establishment for many years, still under the same family.

La Marquesa restaurant by the golf course still advertised and showing open.

I'm intrigued. Which one is that then? After living at La Marquesa for 20 years I don't know it.

Ah, right. Facebook has La Marquesa on C/Ballester and shows it as open every day. Even shows a map and says it overlooks the first hole. Even says it was confirmed by phone 7 weeks ago.

However, TripAdvisor shows Closed and unclaimed so obviously closed down. Just Facebook not updating its page.

Phew! Thought I was really losing it there! It might still have been open about 7 weeks ago. I forget exactly when it closed.

its closed play golf 2 a week and its been closed for a month the quesada family forced the owners to move well thats the stories going about

There is a new restaurant and bar open at the golf course, it’s called REME, next to Unica upstairs above the golf shop
