Hearing aids

Hello. If you know of anyone who wears hearings aids if they cAn hear the TV . Only my friend has to keep removing hers to put on special headphones - if they don’t can you advise what make of hearing aids they wear please. Thank you

My wife, who died recently, had Unitron hearing aids, and with them she used a gadget that was connected to back of the tv and sent the sound direct into the hearing aids. It worked very well, and if she was watching something not of interest to me, and I was perhaps reading my book, she could silence the tv and still hear her programme direct into the hearing aids.
