So just over an inch, then. As said, didn't even make my plant pot bases overflow.
We certainly were lucky this time but it generally passes us in most cases whilst all around seem affected (yes, 4 years ago was quite exceptional).

Still hot, though. 26C in our bedroom at 11 pm so very sticky. The yellow skies didn't bring yellow rain, thank goodness.

Only the horrible brown stuff instead ..Spent the morning mopping all the outside floors and tiles and cleaning the car ..

I woke this morning to my car covered in the brown rain dust here in the South of Ireland. Part of the price of the lovely warm sunny weather with the warm breeze blowing up from the desert since Sunday. I don't mind hosing the car in exchange.
