We went 4 years ago on a 15 day escorted tour. We would never have seen or done the things we did if we had tried to arrange it on our own. We arranged it through an agency in Canada and picked the first flight up in Frankfurt. I have to say we were amazed with China and had the best time ever. We had a guide 24hrs a day and all flights buses event tickets etc were arranged. For the life of me I can't remember the agency name but if you do a search there seem to be a lot of Canadian companies doing trips. If I remember I will put a note up. It is a trip you only will do once but the memories it gave us live with us still. I hope you manage to arrange it and enjoy your trip.

Flew to Hong Kong a couple of years ago via Alicante,Madrid.Lots of hotels on Nathan Road you can book then an easy walk and cheap ferry to Hong Kong island. A walk to the top of the PEAK is a must!
Great people,great food,great time,travel agent not required.

Trail Finders are excellent at arranging overseas tours! I would never do a trip you’re doing independently, if you have any problems you have a good backup. You have absolutely no support at all if you do it all yourself.

Make certain that your travel insurance is from the country you’re departing from. If you live in Spain, don’t be tempted to choose a U.K. annual policy. Buy your travel cover from Spain if starting your trip from Spain.
