Is there any point trying to buy things when your just ignored and the item is already sold to some silent buyer?

When Ivey sold things replies come to me by email, pm and on here as a post, it's a bit confusing at times who was first. But I go on the time the message was sent and first come first served. You don't always know what goes on in the background.

Maybe, but the seller has had time to come on here and put sold in the heading, but can't say sorry it's already sold etc. Bit of courtesy won't go a miss.
