Council Representatives

The mayor of Rojales has nominated two representatives to liaise between the council and the population of the area.

Matthew Smith (British) and Sven Dirk Fraiss (German).

They will work from the Municipal Centre in Plaza Blanca and will be available to sort out problems with the council or any aspect of living in the area. Both will work closely with the Councillor for Resident Services and Integration, Lourdes Lopez.

The mayor hopes this will speed up the problems faced by the large foreign community in the area more quickly and effectively.

There is a facebook group just been set up by Katrina Snowden. It is called "Ciudad Quesada Collective". Katrina keeps everyone informed as to what is going on in the area. She works closely with Matt and Sven.

She recently posted about all the issues that people have flagged in Rojales along with what is being done about it. She reports back on the outcome of every meeting.
