Padrón renewal

Hello how do I get a new padrón I have to go to Orihuela Costa, do I need to go there can I do it online?

If u live in Quesada, u just go to the Town Hall at the top of the high Sreet with ur old padron & ur passport. U can collect it next day. It might have changed since I renewed mine at the beggining of the year.

Not exactly sure where Entra Naranjos is but pretty sure it doesn't fall under the umbrella of Rojales!

My friend has just moved to near VistaBella golf and she has to go to Orihuela!

Hi Pete, I don't know about Orihuela Costa, but as far as I know padron renewal has to be done in person. Take your previous one plus your TIE for ID. That's what we do in Quesada / Rojales. If your previous one has expired already I might also take proof you still live there like deeds or a rental contract and a recent utility bill to save yourself a wasted journey.

You can then choose either Orihuela or Orihuela Costa and apply for an appoinment.
I just tried and appointments come up from 13th October.

A small heads-up.Your Deeds would not be accepted as proof as I was informed once by SUMA. You would have to get a Nota Simple which is in date and shows you are still registered as the current owner.

Nota simple? Never heard of that bee.

You can buy it on-line from www.registro.es I think I paid €6. It confirms that you are the registered owner of your property on whatever date you apply for the Nota Simple. You could also get a Nota Simple at your nearest Registry of Property but on-line is much easier.
