As long as its clean and the food & service is good,
You don't eat the surroundings, ?
You can go in fancy decorated restaurants etc and the food is terrible twice the price along with bad service, some people think because they pay a lot for a meal, it's fantastic, but you can usualy get same meal ,less money elsewhere ,
I go for the taste of the food,
The surroundings don't make the food taste any better,

Whilst I agree the quality of the food is important, the surroundings make a huge difference to the whole experience. The price is another factor entirely. If you are prepared to sacrifice some element for a lower price thats your perogative but as I said my preference is for the complete package.

Somebody told me that Barry has left and the Sunday roast is not as good. I don’t know for sure, because I haven’t been recently, although I have met the new owners and they seem a very nice couple .
