Basic pet insurance

Has anyone that is not covered under their house insurance tried to get individual pet insurance for their dog before the cut off date at the end of this month ?
I am looking for just the liability cover , i am about to phone around to get some quotes but would be grateful for any recommendations , companies offering a good deal
Our small dog is chipped, up to date vaccinations, and with her own passport if that helps
Am posting around to get more opinions

There is some delay in finalizing the deadline and it has not yet been approved for definate, altho 29th sep was the deadline i am sure u will hear otherwise soon.
The company i have checked out is called neo seguro who can supply the insurance for 33.10e per sm dog
This price varies as it depends on size breed etc. There are links below on other posts to confirm my advice.

Hi I've been told that it's fine with it tagged with house insurance and he's classed as a dangerous dog!!
