They put a parking ticket on it at 9pm and it was gone at 9.30 they think perhaps when he used the remote they may have copied it (or whatever they do)? It was outside their house in a quiet street. Fingers crossed.

What a nightmare,
More so all the documents etc house keys for spain etc , it could be a double steal for the bast##d thieves, if they don't get there locks changed quick in spain,
Especialy if there professional thieves,
I wonder if all points of exits of uk been notified
By the police,
They say if it has tracker the thieves can buy a scanner to located it and rip it off, so now insurance Co's recommend 2 trackers just in case.
You work all your life and some bast##d robs you,
Soul destroying.........

Chris you will let us know how that couple fare out especially with their insurance company and repatriation. Their vet in Spain should be able to email some kind of official documentation to satisfy the Pet Passports. Their microchips would be the key there. I keep hoping you will reply saying their motorhome has turned up.

Apparently it's been seen going onto Canvey Island so they went straight there and said it was like a rabbit warren and that's if it's in sight not hidden in some kind of garage. They were hoping to view more CCTV of that area today

They have the dog passports , car documents and house keys back, they were found on a bench in the middle of a busy high street, so it seems they are dumping bits and pieces before it's shipped somewhere. Allianz is the insurance company and still not being very helpful to them.

Thanks Chris. A bit more hopeful. They are probably leaving the stuff well away from wherever the van is holed up. There might be CCTV near where the items were left. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for them. It can't get out of UK unless it crosses water somewhere. Is Canvey Island near where it was stolen from?

It's all Essex area I believe, The couple are making their own enquiries asking houses for any Ring doorbell video, CCTV etc. The police closed the case after 12 hours, too busy with murders!!

Yes they hardly came on foot to steal it so there must be another vehicle involved or the thieves live in a nearby house. If the Police have that attitude then why would any of us bother buying a vehicle. Just go out and rob one. Could it be once the Police hear it is Spanish registered (or is it) that they have no more interest in it?
