Wise debit card cash withdrawals at ATM

Hi

Do all ATM`s charge for the above transaction or are there any free ones, any advise gratefully received.

ATM's have different fees, I use Sabbadal bank who charge 1.80 per withdrawal

Often asked but seldom answered favourably.

A fact of life when using foreign cards in Spanish ATM's unfortunately.

Do you really need cash though when virtually everywhere takes payment either contactless or by phone app.?

Deutsch bank used to but not used for a while.

They are free at the BBVA ATM in Rojales *if* you have a Wise card registered to your Spanish address (not a UK registered one though). The ATM says your card provider will charge, but it doesn't.

Santander doesn't charge if you have an account with them in the UK. And you get the full exchange rate

We’ve never been charged to withdraw cash with a 123 account as long as you use a Santander atm,they charge £1.50 if you use the card to pay for goods in a shop or bars etc.We have changed to the edge account where there is no charge at the Santander atm or to use in shops etc. Just make sure you press the no conversion button at the bottom left of atm screen.

I use Deutsche Bank to withdraw cash with no charges at all using my Revolut card which is not registered to Spain. Same with my N26 card, which again, isnt registered in Spain.
