Our daughter, who spent the last two years teaching in Spain, recommends N26 bank over Wise.

Does anyone have any experience of N26 please?

Had it for years, use it every day. If you can get one registered in another country, it means the Spanish cant just dip into it and take funds for whatever reason, like if they made a mistake in revenue, or whatever. They cant do it to foreign registered accounts.

We've had a N26 account for a number of years and use it to pay all our direct debits in Spain. The customer service is excellent and all communication are in English. Unlike Wise, N26 is a bank and has the 100,000 euro protection.

The N26 is longer available in the UK since Brexit due to the requirement of an additional banking licence.

We use Wise to fund the N26 account from our UK account.
