The clue was in the ‘2’.

I was in Villamartin plaza on Monday this week and though QF&C 2 is closed and the unit is up for sale, they are renovating a premises nearby within the plaza to open soon. Seemed close to completion to me.

It's going to be anothet Quesada fish and chip shop?

It is going to be another fish and chip shop, but owned by the notorious Irish Pub Group.
Although the last time Declan ( the owner /CEO ??) mentioned it on Facebook it was quite sometime before it was due to open. From memory it was 2024/2025, but I could be mistaken and he does change timescales on a regular basis. That post was before he had all the planning/licensing problems with the Budapest, which as his “flagship” went to the top of the list. He only appears to have one team working on renovations.

Obviously QFC in Villamartin, didn’t have the footfall as it was hidden away in a corner, so they switched operations to La Finca by QFC last year and I see that business is up for sale. Shame as it’s a lovely setting, but it’s so isolated, with inadequate signage.

The new ones closing? That's a surprise, must have cost a fortune setting it up.

Well thats a surprise to me too
I was only just there on the 13th for my birthday and it was packed
The food there is exceptional especially sunday lunch and reasonably priced
I will be so disappointed if they close
