Cardiologist Report

Anyone know where i can get a cardiologist report near Quesada,
I failed my driving test medical because i had a heart attack 4 years ago.
Driving test centre doctor requires one to say that I am fit enough to drive.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Ask at your medical centre ?

Lo Marabu health centre, not sure how quickly they’ll do it. Clínica Ribera which is down near Indian Ocean or Quiron in Torrevieja (both private).

I had a couple of mini strokes in 2007. Been fine once medication kicks in.But they still ask for a doctors letter to say im okay to drive. So u have to go through the whole process again.This time i was a bit cheeky and said my cars parked up the road.But just got the standard shrug of the shoulders.

I suffered the same fate. They would not accept a doctors letter it had to be the cardiologist and had to have his number and his stamp, etc etc. This was at the place in la siesta and he is a horrible man a truly jobsworth. I got the report from the cardiologist in torre who treated me for heart attack. I understand you can go to quiron but a fairly hefty cost. What about the office that has just opened just before the arches. Perhaps they can help. In the end the little squirt would only give me a license for a year. I now go to Rojales and I get one for 3 years now. Good luck it is so frustrating.

Hi...does anyone know if a Cardiologist report is required each time an individual takes the Driving test medical or once certified OK after seeing a Cardiologist the first time then one is presumed to be OK.

Probably depends on individual doctors doing the DL medicals.

Thanks for replies, agree the Dr at Clinica Siesta is not very helpfull,he said if i get report i will have 2 years before next test,my licence runs out end of November so need to get licence renewed fairly quick, don't mind paying but Quiron is charging £150.

Wonder if it would be the same at another test centre

You need the report every time you renew but hang on to the original one as that suffices (at least in Rojales it does)
