You need to get the train to Alicante from Abatera/Catral station at San Isidro then the fast train from Alicante to Barcelona Sants station then taxi to the port
Distance Barcelona Sants Train Station To Sea Port?

Q: What is the distance between Barcelona - Sants train station and the cruise ship sea port? What would be the approximate cost by taxi?

A: The Barcelona Sants Rail station (Estació Sants) is about 4 km (1.86 miles) from the Barcelona cruise port. It would take about 10 minutes in a taxi and cost you about €20.00 for the taxi fare (which includes the taxi supplement from the cruise port). There is an additional luggage supplement for bags placed in the boot. Four passengers can travel in the taxi. For the possible supplements see our page on Barcelona taxi supplements and fares.

I read the other day cruise ships are docking at another port to stop polluting the air in the city so if it's for a cruise check where it is.

If it is for a cruise: As overtourism continues to throttle European cities, one destination has taken a step against cruise ships, restricting access to the port.

Barcelona has closed its northern port terminal to cruise traffic, after an agreement with the local authorities to move ships further out of town.

Cruise ships must now dock at the Moll d’Adossat pier, which is the furthest from the city center. Before that, ships also used the World Trade Center pier, which is plum in the city center, a block from La Rambla, Barcelona’s famous promenade

We're taking the train next month from Alicante to Barcelona, leaving the car at Alicante airport and taking the C6 bus from there to the train station. In Barcelona we'll catch an Uber or Cabify to wherever the ship ends up docking.
