Happy Garden Restaurant

Happy Garden Restaurant

Postby Don~ » Sat Oct 14, 2023 12:50 pm

I have gone to the restaurant twice recently on different days only to find it closed. Has it closed permanently or does it now close in the afternoons? It was one of my favourite places to eat.

Agreed. Glad when it went. Who thought it was a good idea to put cherries and lychees in a Sweet & Sour?!!!

Totally agree awful place. They gave me sweet and sour pork balls when I ordered chicken and she refused to change it as she insisted it was chicken but the leg meat because that is what English people want.! It got to the point she was shouting at me saying it was chicken!

Been closed for ages....

Wish someone would buy it and do something with it though

Closed July 2022 - many years ago it used to be a lovely place just to sit and have a drink, until they redeveloped the treatment works across the road.

Thank you for all replies. By the sound of it I may have been lucky to find it no longer open.
