I'm looking to find an offcut of wood to put under the cushions of a settee, to give better support for my partner's back. Can anyone recommend a shop or business where I may be able to buy one. T I A

Often you get wardrobes and Formica dumped at the bins, would you use a piece of that then there's Leroy Merlin at Haberneras they will cut to size

Try Lords in Lo Perez they have a skip outside their shop and sometimes wood and Formica are put in the skip

Lo Perez is the village going towards San Miguel from Los Montesinos where they sell Firewood

Like you we had to buy a piece of timber to put under couch cushions. We got it in Leroy Merlin cut to size. The thinnest they have is 10mm MDF. A piece 2440x1220x10mm cost €19.50
I would have preferred something like the more flexible marine ply about 5mm but they didn't have it.
