But do Amazon ever actually take funds they’re not entitled to? I’ve used Amazon for many many years and never had a problem. Also never heard of them just taking monies for no reason.

Same here. Never had a problem with Amazon.es either.
Very easy to set up which card you want them charge for your purchases and as had already been mentioned,equally easy to delete one.

Been with Amazon over 20 years, both UK and Spain. Never had anything taken from any of my cards which shouldn't have been nor have I been overcharged.

On the contrary, we had a refund for something we bought and never asked for a return. Found it impossible to repay them and the robot on the end of the phone had no idea what I was trying to do.
