Gardening tips needed

Postby Carol McFeat » Wed Oct 25, 2023 2:51 pm

The plant below is growing lovely new leaves but the existing leaves are turning brown at the tips. Any advice on what causes this and how to stop it in future would be greatly appreciated.

The leaves are easy damage as soft on the ends also water droplets left on leaves can act like a magnifier...but I would say yours are just the older leaves that in time will dry up and fall off..on the trunk/ main stem you will with time get side stems that when bigger can be taken off and potted up ..the plant will get to be about 1 meter or more wide in time ..I have about 30 or more round my garden ..they don't need much water and one good thing is they don't have sharp needle like ends to the leaves like others in that family of plants ...
