Mould remover

Don’t give up. Spray it on and leave it fir as long as you can.

An old remedy is bicarbonate of soda mixed to a paste and rubbed in. Leave and wash off.

My daughter told me that she irradiated all the black from the silicone on her bath. Keep going. Don’t give up Bee.

Thanks R but it is a lost cause. I have tried everything but the black is now ingrained.

Best product is MUFFYCID! Fantastic stuff, spray it on and the mould is gone and won’t come back for ages! Fereteria Lo Marabu sell it and Amazon.es not sure who else. Very very effective.

I posted this in September when the drain deodoriser was the subject. All HG products are available in Al Campo in La Zenia Boulevard and are much cheaper than either Leroy Merlin or Ferretaria.

When re applying the silicone sealant make sure you buy the anti mould sealant,it is more exspensive than the standard stuff, also to take the old sealant/ silicone off, you can buy a product/kit that helps,
Good old Domestos neat cleans mould off,Also the white cleaning vinegar, or pure alcohol, all sold of the shelf in supermarkets,
No need to pay silly money for named products

Thanks Gustav.
Normally I’d use homemade remedies but on this occasion my arm would have been exhausted rubbing and cleaning! The HG spray dud an absolutely superb job.

Someone asked about the removal of rust. I read that spray oil removes it. Years ago, we were taught to use salt and lemon juice

I found a product that removes ingrained mould and mildew from silicone grouting, or possibly any grouting. It is called Mould X with chlorine.

:text-lol: I might just lock the bathroom now and tell the tenants to do their business out in the bushes as they seem to be allergic to cleaning.
