Tile delivery

Hi. Am about to buy some wall tiles - but wanting delivery to 2nd floor apartment (building has small elevator). Preyser have said they will only deluver to street level. Leroy merlin said for health & safety they won't take up stairs (still waiting to hear if they will take in the lift)
Has anyone had delivery to an upstairs floor?

Not tiles but furniture lots of times in the lift to 2nd floor.

If you have a private word with delivery man maybe a 30 euro might do the trick. talks as they say. That is if only a few Boxes not 50 Boxes

Yes have had no problems with furniture. I assume it's to do with the weight of tiles. Leroy merlin said health & safety issue, but I just wonder what happens when someone is top floor of a high tower block for example?

Have seen several individual deliveries of pallets of tiles craned up to a first floor door entrance, on the urb where we are. so it can happen, not seen any as high as second floor though. so as already suggested, have a word with truck driver. Good luck
