Ultra scan

Please can anyone tell me the approximate waiting time for an ultra sound at Torrevieja hospital?

Been waiting 18 months for spmething else. they are miles behind.Not good enough.

Have you been and queried it, dad had a scan a week or so ago on prostate area, waited about 10 weeks.
Depends how urgent it is. We are waiting for a brain scan but machines broken so appt we had was cancelled.

I guess i was lucky only waited 2 weeks for prostate area scan.

No, I haven’t yet Chrisdee, as it’s only been 6 weeks. I thought if it’s a ridiculous amount of time, then I will go private. I will still need a referral from the doctor apparently.

Again, look at GVA Salut on the patient portal. Entering your SIP card, date of birth and date of issue will show you any procedures that in the pipeline and how long the waiting time is.

If nothing comes up then it appears many things at the hospital are slipping through the net so you need to go to the hospital and ask if any appointment has been requested.

Seems a regular thing now.

I have gone onto GVA Salud, but cannot find anything on it Marcliff. Only an appointment.

ABOUT 5 WEEKS AGO I SAW A SPECIALIST ABOUT MY PROSTRATE READING . HE SAID I NEEDED A MRI SCAN AND TO MAKE A APT MY TRANSLATER AND US WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO DO THAT GUY SAID URGENTA YOU WILL HEAR IN 10 DAYS 5 WEEKS LATER NOTHING.

I am waiting for an ultra sound, not an MRI….very different. If you go to the desk Littlechris where the x-ray department is, ask there and they should give you an appointment immediately. They did me….good luck.
