Not sure if you're replying to me Terry, but I was replying to the original post rather than yours. My home in the UK is a second / 'holiday' home, not a rental of any sort. I do have a long term rental too, however, and it is insured through my managing agent Reeds Rains. They know I live in Spain.

Coincidentally the insurance on my UK second home is due next week. I got a quote from Intelligent Insurance which was around £400 cheaper than the renewal premium from Intasure. I confirmed in writing on their online chat facility that they cover non-UK residents too. So you can guess who I went with. Thank you jpeg for the recommendation.
