It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas….

If that's all it takes to make you cave then you've lost your argument right there and no I'm not going to read your pagan handbook.Steve wilkins wrote:That's a really expansive topic Darro and i really can't be bothered elaborating too much. If you read the bible and consider what it says, and look into evolution and it's arguments, plus look how everything on this planet is aligned perfectly in such a way to sustain life, and how complex and diverse that is, it's incredible. All to happen by chance and the throw of a dice? I don't think so. But that's my conclusion.
To "complex and diverse" I say give enough monkeys enough typewriters.

I've been out today doing the Lords work, erecting more annoying flashing lights. Trying to drum the message of Christmas into the neighbours. Christmas is a fun time. Enjoy it.

There’s nowt wrong with flashing lights, how will Santa find our houses with lots of goodies if we have no lights. But save your strength for cooking Christmas dinner, drumming up support for the church is a waste of time, Christian’s are a dying breed, it’s much better to worship money than some Lost forgotten Christian deity, yeah let’s worship the Pink £50.00 note. Whoo hooo…blessed be commercialism, praise be to the coin, money money money, it must be funny in a rich man’s world.

I wasn't aware we were having a argument darro. I also don't see why i should enter a discussion with someone and try and convince them of the existence of creation or anything else, as it will most probably end in a argument as well as being extremely time consuming. In addition to the admission that your unwilling to even read the bible, the source of the creation story. One would assume that if you really wanted to prove to yourself one way or the other on a particular subject, you would put all info on the table, and use your own discernment when coming to a conclusion. I've had many conversations with friends and family members on the same topic and one thing i have learned is that people believe what they want, regardless of any evidence that's presented for or against something.

I suppose you could say,
People believe in something in there own way, everyone thinks different, and has there own beliefs,
Realy no one needs telling what to believe if they any sort of person who's true to themselves,
But I think the Muslim religion is the most indoctrinated religion into children from an early age, that they know no different, but if that's how they are brought up, that's how it is, some say brain washed who knows,
