It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas….
It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas….
by Philipb1407 » Thu Nov 30, 2023 8:11 pm
OK so I’m going about my business when lo and behold everywhere is putting up “seasons greetings”, “happy holidays”, and winter lights across the Road, it’s “a winter wonderland”, it’s “winter holidays”. It’s Pine trees and baubles….
NO ITS NOT - ITS CHRISTMAS. It’s when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, the whole world loves to celebrate December the 25th the day Christ was born, Merry Christmas. No matter the language, Santa brings you gifts on the day Christ was born. It’s a big thing for Christians and it’s an even bigger day for Children, for really it’s all about them. Children are our future, let them have the magic of Christmas.
So let’s go back to basic's, it’s a Merry Christmas everyone, a happy Christmas everyone, merry Christmas and a happy new year, It’s a Christmas tree and it’s Christmas wonderland, it’s happy Christmas holidays, happy Christmas greetings, it’s Christmas decorations and it’s Christmas bunting and Christmas lighting. It’s Christmas winter holidays… I wish it could be Christmas everyday.
Call it what it is, it’s Christmas..

Nothing to do with Christianity so i hate to burst your balloon. The magic has gone with all the commercialisation of it anyway. Supposed to be 12 days of Christmas, except nowadays it's 3 months of Christmas.

Christmas has nothing to do with religion, only in the minds of old people. Imagine even believing in religion, its absolute cringe. People should be called out for it at every opportunity, its a sickness.
Christmas is all about families getting together and getting themselves into debt to keep up with their peers. Consumerism is today's religion.
Merry Christmas!

On the 1st month of Christmas, my true love demanded of me, a Pair of gold Jimmy Choo, on the 2nd month of Christmas my true love demanded of me, a new gold credit card, on the third month of Christmas my true love demanded of me, a 2nd mortgage, to pay off her credit card. Sounds familiar?

And just for the humbug lovers I am a atheist I don’t believe in any supernatural being or faith, but Ah, “those Christmas nights” give me more, give me more…
